Vienna Art Week 2023: Exhibition “Empatia” by Ukrainian artist Danylo Kovach

The exhibition “Empatia” by the Ukrainian artist Danylo Kovach took place in Vienna from November 9 to 16. This exhibition opens a new perspective on the concept of “empathy”, which transcends cultural and national boundaries, creating a bridge between different people and societies.

Danylo Kovach, an artist from Lviv and Uzhgorod, with his works, he not only reflects current socio-cultural issues, but also strives to influence society. His works combine theoretical concepts with practical implementation, forming a complete image of art.

“Empatia” became part of VIENNA ART WEEK, which annually gathers artists, curators and art lovers from different countries. This year, Danylo Kovach became the only representative of the Ukrainian art scene at this festival.

“My art is a way to express my feelings and beliefs. I strive to explore current socio-cultural topics, revealing their complexity for society,” says Kovach.

More than 100 events and exhibitions took place within the framework of this exhibition, bringing together artists, curators and art lovers to reveal the modern face of art to the world.

The venue of the “Empathy” exhibition was the ROOMING INN at the address Wiedner Hauptstraße 54, 1040 Wien, from November 9 to 16, 2023.
