Spilne Art x atelienormalno Exhibition — «Zhenia, Liera, Ira»

On February 14, the exhibition Spilne Art x atelienormalno — «Zhenia, Liera, Ira» opened at 3.6.9 Space Kyiv. The project emerged from a long-term collaborative artistic practice developed through the artists’ work at the atelienormalno studio.

The exhibition is built around the method of co-creation. Liera Tarasenko’s painted landscapes and other works were complemented by graphic interventions from Zhenia Holubentsev and Iryna Holoborodko. This process unfolds without prior planning, functioning as an open artistic dialogue that generates an autonomous visual world and invites viewers to immerse themselves in it.

The collaborative practice began with an unexpected gesture: Zhenia Holubentsev’s intervention in one of Liera Tarasenko’s nearly completed works. Over time, this impulse evolved into a year-long cycle of experiments and reflections on authorship, collectivity, trust, and the willingness both to share and to receive.

An important part of the exhibition consisted of performative sessions by Iryna Holoborodko and Liera Tarasenko. Throughout the exhibition, Iryna expanded upon Liera’s paintings in real time, revealing the process of co-creation to visitors and emphasizing the fluidity and openness of the artistic gesture.
