Silvashi Circles. Discussion with Forbes Ukraine

From September 13 to October 27, the Ukrainian House hosted the first museum retrospective of Kol Silvashi, dedicated to one of the most prominent Ukrainian abstract painters, a master of non-objective art — Tiberius Silvashi.

Organized by the team of the Ukrainian Museum of Contemporary Art UMCA, the exhibition became a landmark event for the Ukrainian art community. The Spilne Art platform was honored to support this project as a partner.

The exhibition presented the versatility of Tiberius Silvashi’s work in different time spaces, contexts, and mediums, and was complemented by works by 86 other authors. During the event, the founder and CEO of Spilne Art, Natalia Tkachenko, spoke as part of a panel discussion organized by the teams of UMCA, Forbes Ukraine, and the Ukrainian House, during which the speakers spoke about the impact of art on business and vice versa. Also, as part of the exhibition, the platform team had the opportunity to visit curatorial tours by Olga Balashova, Boris Filonenko, and Lydia Apollonova, and a personal meeting with Tiberius Silvashi.

“In the existential loneliness of man in the world, art remains the only opportunity to establish harmony. In such moments, being is revealed as truth. And art becomes a tool for recording truth. And the exhibition is its presentation,” — Tiberius Silvashi.

We are delighted to have the opportunity to support the event and thank everyone who became part of the project, visited the exhibition, and joined the public program.

See you in the world of contemporary art!
