I Remember This Place Because It Remembers Me

Bringing together nine artists, under the curatorship of Kateryna Tsyhykalo and Tetiana Voloshyna, the project explores the experience of losing and finding a place — a point of grounding — whether real or imagined, external or internal.
Here, “place” is not always literal: it may be a city you long to return to, a childhood room, the smell of fresh bread, the view from a window, the air after rain, the taste of your mother’s cooking, or the touch of the bark of a tree that still stands.
These are the spaces that stitch us together, keep us afloat, and give body to our memory and presence.
