History of Spilne Art
The Spilne platform appeared at the end of 2020 as an opportunity to gather good young art in one place and give those looking for art the opportunity to quickly find it and discover new names. At first, we worked exclusively with young, little-known, but at the same time interesting authors, and later we began to include more famous artists in the portfolio. During these four years, we went from a startup in the art world to a recognized art platform.
In 2025, we open a new page in the history of Spilne, responding to the audience’s request: from now on, Spilne Art works not only with emerging artists, but also with prominent representatives of contemporary Ukrainian art, such as Tiberii Silvashi, Oleksandr Sukholit, Olena Pryduvalova, Oleksii Apollonov, Ilia Isupov, Alevtina Kakhidze and others. We believe that art is an interaction where experience and innovation can go hand in hand and enrich each other.
Natalia Tkachenko – art consultant, founder and CEO of Spilne Art:
“I started my career with the auditing and consulting company Ernst & Young. Later, I headed financial control and audit at the metallurgical company Interpipe. It was my solid experience in finance and managing processes and teams in big business that helped me make a bold career turn — and create my own art project, which later developed into an independent business.
Why art? I have always been into it, studied art from the best: I studied contemporary art at the European Cultural Academy in Venice, took creative leadership courses at Sotheby’s in London, and art management courses at KAMA. Later, I graduated from the cultural management program at the University of Vienna. In parallel with theory, I studied practice: visits to artists’ studios, opening exhibitions, trips to museums, conversations with curators, gallerists, and dealers. All this gave me a deep understanding of the field and the artistic landscape. Friends and acquaintances began to contact me more and more often for advice on buying art. When these requests became critical, I decided to create Spilne Art.”
